Cub Scout Tips
Boys in kindergarten through 5th grade will be a Cub Scout. When filling out the form, check the
box for the grade the boy is in: 1st graders are Tiger Cubs, 2nd
graders are Wolf Cubs, 3rd graders are Bear Cubs, and 4th or 5th
graders are Webelos Scouts.
What about my kindergartener?
There currently isn't a box to indicate Lion Cub, so please write "Lion" or "Lion Cub" on top of the application. The rest of the
application is very intuitive. Just fill in the boxes for name, age, birth date, address,
phone, parent info, etc.
Boy Scout Tips
Boys who are at least 10 years old (and finished the 5th grade) through age 18 will become Boy Scouts.
When registering a boy ages 11 through age 18, fill out a youth application form to be a Boy Scout. The application is very intuitive, with boxes for
name, age, birth date, address, phone, parent info, etc.
Venturing and Sea Scout Tips
Young men and young women who are at least 13 (and have completed the 8th grade) through age
21 can become Venturers or Sea Scouts. If the youth member is 18 years old or older, they MUST fill out
and use the Adult Leader Application.
When registering a young man or young woman age 13 until age 18, fill out a youth application form to be a Venturer or Sea
Scout; whichever program they will be participating in. The application is very intuitive with boxes for
name, age, birthrate, address, phone, parent info, etc.
