Program Highlights

This weekend program is an opportunity for your Scouts to learn how to have fun and sleep outside in the winter while being guided by our Staff and using our warm, cozy winter gear.

Possible activities: Winter shelter building, ice climbing, gaga ball, human foosball, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, team building games, orienteering, winter cooking , ice safety, night hike, curling, and more!

Sleeping Arrangements

Sleep inside on Friday night and outside on Saturday night.

7:00 - 7:30 pm Check in and Arrival
7:30 pm Meet Crew Guide(s), Winter Safety, Equipment Check Out
9:45 pm Winter Camping Demo
10:30 pm Cracker Barrel
11:00 pm Lights Out

Saturday
7:50 am Flag Raising
8:00 am Breakfast
8:45 am Finish Trail Preparation
9:30 am Crews Depart Base Camp, Adventure Begins
10:30 am Campsite Set Up
12:30 pm Trail Lunch
1:00 pm Adventure Activities and Shelter Building
5:00 pm Dinner Preparation
6:00 pm Dinner and Campfire
8:00 pm Night Hike, Campfire
9:30 pm Lights out

Sunday
7:30 am Breakfast
8:00 am Break Camp, travel back to Base Camp
8:45 am Arrive at Base Camp, check gear in
10:30 am: Pack personal equipment into vehicles
11:00 am: Recognition Banquet
12:00 pm: Cleaning Assignment and Departure
